Funeral services will be held for John Ben "Jack" Broyles, former resident of Breckenridge, who lived in Breckenridge in the late 30s and early 40s before moving to Arkansas during the war. He had lived in Rankin, Texas, the past three years. He was a member of the Christian Church.

Services were held in the First Methodist Church in Rankin officiated by Rev. J.E. Montgomery, pastor of the First Christian Church officiated in Breckenridge.

Survived by his wife - the former Geraldine Hughes; six daughters - Mrs. Ray Hearon of Rankin, Rachael, Norma Lee, Mary Caroline, Sandra Juanerra and Linda Gale; three sons - John Ben, Jr. of CA, George and Charles Lane at Rankin; his parents - Mr. and Mrs. Winn Broyles; two brothers - Wood and J.D. Broyles.
