Worked at the Pickle Plant in Garland, The Cotton Mill in McKinney, Haggar's Slacks in McKinney, was a representative of Avon Cosmetics, a McKinney daily paper representative, and worked at the Action Company in McKinney.

She died with complications of Alzheimer's at the Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham, Texas.

Honorary Pallbearers and children were her sons: Roy Gale, from Garland; Gary Lee, from Van Alstyne; Larry E., from Rowlette; Joe Dale, from San Antonio; David Lynn, from Plano; and George Alby, from Bells; her daughter, Dorothy June Gibson, from Leonard; many grandchildren, neices, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceeded in death by her parents, Isaac Nelson Henager and Eliza Isabell Bentley Henager; brothers Joyce Henager and Joe B. Henager; sisters Helen Geneva "Tip" Henager Lorance, Hazel Bernice Henager,and Eva Grace Henager Rose; one grandson Eric Gale Lorance.
