OBITUARY: Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Scott, for Mrs. Cemar Alleman, 79, the former Amelie Duhon who died Friday at Lourdes Hospital.

Burial is in the church cemetery.

The Rev. Frederick Swenson, pastor, will officiate.

Survivors include her husband, Cemar Alleman, Lafayette; three daughters, Mrs. Curby Burleigh, Mrs. Maydel Venable, and Mrs. Anna Royer, Lafayette; a son, Francis Alleman Sr., Lafayette; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Aime, Lafayette; she was preceded in death by her parents, Philibert Duhon and Marie Laperouse Duhon; two daughters, Mrs. Yolande Bourque and Semae Alleman, and a son, Joseph Alleman and a grandson.

She was a native of St. Martin Parish who lived in Lafayette 61 years. She belonged to Sts. Peter and Paul community.

Rosary is today at 7 p.m. at the Scott Funeral Home.
Visitation is today from 9 a.m. to services Sunday.

Pallbearers are Francis and Michael Alleman, Johnny Burleigh, Jason Venable, Brent Royer and Andrus Seaux.

Martin and Castille Funeral Home of Scott is handling arrangements.
