Actress. Born Elsa Asunción Celestino in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she was a popular film drama figure in the 1930's and 40s. Her many film credits included "Toolbar Mendoza" (1935), "Which Did not Spare" (1938), "Lady Companion" (1940), "I Knew That Woman" (1942), "Desire" (1944) and "The Dark Path" (1947).
