WILLIAM HOLBROOK and his first wife, ELIZABETH (PITTS), among the early settlers of Weymouth, MA and later Scituate, MA, with whom he had an only daughter: MEHETABLE HOLBROOK, b.3/10/1687, Weymouth, MA. Margery (Eames) Holbrook died bef.1694 when widower Cornelius 2nd m: EXPERIENCE (ROGERS), b.1665, Eastham, MA, d.1741, Weymouth, MA, with whom he had children.
In7/ 1699 "my son Cornelius Holbrook and his daughter Mehetable Holbrook, when she marries or turns 21" were named/bequeathed in her paternal grandfather Capt. WILLIAM HOLBROOK's Will. In 1706 "my granddaughter Mehetable Holbrook" was named/bequeathed in her maternal grandfather JUSTUS EAMES' Will. In 2/1741 "my daughter Mehetable Holbrook" was named/bequeathed in her father's Will. After 1741 Mehetable married JOHN CORBETT.)
