2nd marriage Hulbert) is her mother, and was married
to Marietta's father, William Crittenden, until his death
in 1819. Lydia then married Orrin/Oren Hulbert
(also known under Hurlbut) in 1822. In Lydia's will
(listed as Item 1), she determined "...the sum of forty
dollars and my gold watch" should be used as payment
to erect the monument pictured in the memorial, for
herself and Marietta A. Arnold (Marietta's married name.)
Marietta Crittenden married Francis Spencer Arnold on
2 Oct 1836 in Lorain, Ohio, and bore two children
(Lydia and David Crittenden Arnold) before she died
on 9 Sep 1844.
