Jacob Goodman, son of Jacob Goodman and Elizabeth "Eliza" Maley or Meyer (Maley in our Goodman Genealogy Book, Meyer on Jacob's death record), b. in Fayette, Seneca, New York. He married Mary Magdaline Euga, 13 Dec 1848 or 1849 at Liverpool (now Valley City), Ohio. Their children: Sarah Elizabeth, b. 24 April 1850, m. Frederick K. Wise; Charlotte, b. May 1853, m. William E. Sadler; Adaline, b. May 1856, m. Charles Reisinger; Mary, b. 11 Dec 1858, m. Henry Reisinger; Charles, b. 25 Mar 1861, m. Hattie Delphine Bradley. Jacob and his wife Mary were both members of the Belden Conregational Church.
