Jacob was born in 1784 in Berks Co. Pennsylvania, son of Heinrich and Catherine of Tulpehocken, Berks Co., Ohio, he married Elizabeth Moyer, dau. of John and Elizabeth Moyer, 31 July 1814 at Tulpehocken Lutheran Church in Tulpehocken, Berks Co., Ohio. She was born 2 June 1798 at Snyder Co. Pennsylvania. She d. 1 June 1838 and is buried in Brunswick, Ohio. He secondly married Mary ??? who was born in Germnay. He d. 22 Feb 1857.
