Mrs. J. T. Edwards, 74, died suddenly at her home at 1360 S. Blvd., Sunday evening following a heart attack. She was born at Ephriam, Utah, Oct. 31, 1880, a daughter of John and Mary Christina Overlaid Williams. The family lived in Ephriam for a number of yearas, then moved to Mayfield, Utah. The family then moved to Emery, Utah, where her father began farming operations.

It was in Emery where she was married to John T. Edwards, Sept. 28, 1900. This marriage was solemnized at Logan LDS Temple, July 11, 1933.

Following their marriage the couple lived in Emery, where Mr. Edwards was engaged in the sheep business. The couple lived in Salt Lake City four years, then in 1912 moved to Idaho Falls where Mr. Edwards was in the sheep business until his death about two years ago.

During her lifetime, Mrs. Edwards was active in LDS Church work, serving in various women's organizations.

She is survived by the following sons and daughters: Hayea Edwards, Roberts; Forest Edwards, Idaho Falls; Mrs. Erma Berg, Richland, Wash.; Mrs. Leah Evans, Tacoma, Wash.; and Garth Edwards, Aiken, S. C. Two sisters, Mrs. H. M. Bramwell of Rigby and Mrs. Neils Hansen of Springville, Utah, also survive as well as 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
