Earl Edwards, 46, farm and ranch worker, died in a local hospital just before noon Tuesday following a brief illness. He was taken ill about two weeks ago and cause of death has not been determined.
He was born in Carey, Idaho. While he was a young boy, the family moved to Idaho Falls where they have resided since. Mr. Edwards' wife, the former Mabel Dayley of Rexburg, preceded in him in death about seven years ago.
A son, Earl Edwards, Jr., Idaho Falls, survives as well as three brother, Dave Edwards, John Edwards, Edward Edwards, all of Idaho Falls; one sister, Mrs. Ellen Staley, also of Idaho Falls.
