Homer Claude Anderson married Jessie Abogial Tittle, Cherokee by blood descent, 24 Oct 1905 in Carthage, Jasper Co., Missouri. They lived in Vinita, Craig Co., Oklahoma until the middle of the 1920's when they moved to Tulsa, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma where he opened the Tulsa Stove Hospital. They lived and operated their business until after 1940 in the Tulsa area. Sometime after that they moved to Dallas, Dallas Co., Texas where he opened the Dallas Stove Hospital. After his death his adopted son Ray Charles Anderson and his family operated the Dallas Stove Hospital. Ray Charles was Jessie's child and a member of the Cherokee Nation also. She married Homer Claude's brother Troy and from that union was born Ray Charles. Troy and Jessie divorced and Homer married Jessie and adopted Ray Charles as his son. Homer and Jessie are both buried next to one another at Sparkman-Hillcrest Cemetery.
