Ella Marie Boothe Wood, age 89, died Monday, November 29, 2010, at her home. She was born on March 2, 1921, to the late Frank and Edna Mae Boothe. She was a member of Chatham Christian Church, a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 2734 and a Kentucky Colonel. She is survived by her husband Ollie C. Wood, who she married May 29, 1937. They had been married for 73 years.
She is also survived by: three daughters, Rosella Mae Johnson, of Sebring Florida, Barbara Sue (Frank) Booth, of Hillsboro, Ohio, and Mary Ann (Jerry) Tucker, of Foster; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Edythe Ware, of Augusta. She was preceded in death by: a son, Robert Allen Wood; her step-mother, Pauline Boothe; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother, Lawrence Leslie Boothe; and a sister, Christine Curtis.
