Mrs. Miller, 90, of Reeves entered eternal rest on Friday, July 15, 2011 in Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria.
Ruby was a member of Reeves Bible Church where she served in the nursery for over fifty years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who served as a volunteer at Camp Pearl and will be greatly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merlin Miller and two sisters, Effie Bucklin and Dorothy Ritter.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include three sons – Luther Miller and his wife, Pat of Reeves, Lin Miller and his wife, JeDonne of Dry Creek and Bill Miller and his wife, Marcia of Kinder; three daughters – Elaine Johnson and her husband, Bob of Reeves, Frances Pourteau and her husband, Charles of Westlake and Linda Wilson and her husband, Kevin of Princeton, Indiana: one brother – William Hetzel and his wife, Betty of Hathaway and one sister – Joyce Fletcher of Westlake. Ruby is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
