Richard Arthur Germon, 88, Lee's Summit, died Sunday at St. Luke's Hospital.
He was born in Tiverton, England and had lived in Half Moon Bay, Calif., before moving to Lee's Summit this year.
Mr. Germon was a postal clerk in San Francisco before he retired in 1952. He was a Lutheran. He was a member of the Ocean View Odd Fellows Lodge and the Golden Gate Chapter of the Society of Wireless Pioneers.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Germon of the home; a son, Richard I. Germon, San Mateo, Calif.; a brother, Herbert Germon, England; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Floral Hills Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 o'clock tonight at the chapel.
