She was born on October 12, 1944 in Lake Butler, Florida, to John Wilbur and Inez (Thomas) Nettles, and was married in Lake City, Florida on January 11, 1964. Lucinda lived in Ennis for 28 years and helped many reach their goal of owning their own home.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, one daughter, one son, one grandson, three brothers and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lucinda was preceded in death by her parents, son, Henry Johnson, two sisters, Melinda Nettles and an infant sister; and two brothers, Bruce and Lavon Nettles.
Funeral services are scheduled at 10 A.M. on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Ennis.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home, Ennis, Texas.
