William Elden Beasley, age 93, of McKinney, Texas, passed away November 24, 2009, in McKinney. William was born August 22, 1916 in Kansas City, Kansas, to William Anthony and Anna Katherine (Hausler) Beasley. He married Lola Kibbee on March 27, 1938, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. William retired in 1980 after forty-three years with Braniff International Airways, where he was Staff Vice President for Communications. He was active in Navy MARS (Military Affiliate Radio System) and amateur radio. William was a member of the Fifth Church of Christ Scientist in Dallas, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Lola Beasley of McKinney, Texas; sons, William Harold Beasley and wife, Carolyn of Norman, Oklahoma and Robert Anthony Beasley of Fayetteville, Georgia; grandchildren, Wendy Nelson and Allyson Beasley; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harold Beasley. Burial will take place at Maple Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas at a later date.
