NORMAN L. SHOREY, ENFIELD - Norman L. Shorey, 80, husband of Norma E. (House) Shorey, died Aug. 31, 1997, at a Lincoln hospital. He was born in Burlington, Sept. 24, 1916, the son of Lloyd and Myrtle (Sibley) Shorey. Norman was a longtime woodsman. In addition to his wife, Norma, he is survived by four sons and three daughters, Leonard of Montana, Dennis and his wife, Mary of Vermont, Corace McMann of Enfield, Sharon Quesada and her husband, Norman of Florida, Michael and his wife, Karen of Pennsylvania, Keith and his wife, Veronica of Burlington, and Kelly Cookson and her husband, Don of Connecticut; a brother, Howard of Burlington; a half sister, Helen Page of Lincoln; and a half brother, David Thompson of Farmington; 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by seven brothers, two half brothers and four sisters. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Clay Funeral Home in Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Ogle officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Respose Cemetery, Burlington.
