Mrs. Coral Madsen died Monday at 10 a.m. at Nebraska Methodist Hospital, Omaha. Her father, Dwight R. Clark, formerly lived in Ames and worked in advertising for the Milepost newspaper. Her uncle, Elwood Clark, is with the College Pipe Shop here. Her husband's uncle, Orville Madsen, is a local grocer.
Funeral will be Thursday at 10 a m. in Cherokee. Burial will be in Ogden Cemetery at 2 p.m. Thursday.

Coral Madsen Dies in Omaha
Mrs. Coral Madsen, 27, died at 11.20 a.m. Monday, August 13 in Omaha following an illness of one week.
She had resided in Omaha for the pact four years.
She arrived in Cherokee with her parents at the age of 5. The deceased graduated from Wilson High School in 1947 and attended Buena Vista College in Storm Lake for three and a half years.
For a period of two years following her study at Buena Vista she taught in the Vail School.
Survivors include: Her husband, Donald W. Madsen Jr. Omaha; her parents, Mr. and Mrs Dwight Clark, Cherokee; one sister, Jill Cherokee. She was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas, in 1934 (rmf note: Douglas died in 1935).
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 16 at 10 a.m. from St. Paul's Methodist Church in Cherokee. Burial is to be in the Ogden, Ia., Cemetery. Boothby Funeral Home is to be in charge of arrangements.
The Rev. J. K. Feller will officiate at services.
