Avelino Benavides Altamarado, 49, who had lived in Grant county all of his life, died Friday at his home in Hurley. The deceased was born Jan 12, 1901 at North Hurley. Besides his widow, Eluyisa Altamarado, he is survived by a son Antonio; eight daughters, Ysidra Ramona Petra, Monica, Matilde, Alma, Gloria, and Zenaida; his father, Luico Altamarado; three brothers, Manual, Luico, and Ralph; a sister, Claire Elvira; and a granddaughter Ysidra Altamarado. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 5PM from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bayard, with the Rev Fr Ramon Estivill officiating. Burial will be in the Hurley Cemetery.
