Lydia Sue Bratton, age 73, a resident of Russellville, AR, died Sunday, October 13, 2002 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, Arkansas. She was born on July 26, 1929 in Atkins, AR, to David and Georgia (Hudson) Johnson. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church and retired from ConAgra (Mortons) Foods. Mrs. Bratton was preceded in death by her husband, Dwane Bratton; three sons, James David Bratton, Darrell Dwane Bratton, and James Wayne Bratton.

Survivors include six sons, Gary Bratton of Dardanelle, Roy Bratton of Russellville, Eddie Bratton of Russellville, Jerry (and Sandra) Bratton of Russellville, Jackie (and Beverly) Bratton of Danbury, Ricky (and Sheila) Bratton of Russellville; three daughters, Delena (and Jim) Burris of Lake Jackson, Sandra (and Floyd) Magers of Atkins, Margarete (and Greg) Murphy of Atkins; 24 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; five sisters, Georgia Trumpfheller of Cabot, Alice Bratton of Atkins, Elizabeth Hamblin of Greenfield, Thelma Lawhorn of Centerville, Margie Norris of Russellville; one brother, Elmer E. Johnson of Russellville.

Funeral service will be 10 A.M. Thursday, October 17, 2002 at the Bethel Assembly of God Church officiated by Rev. Earl Helton and Rev. Micheal Burden. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery at Dardanelle, Arkansas under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 7-9 P.M. Tuesday.
