GEORGE ELLINGTON DIES AT HOSPITAL

George Ellington, 42, died at 9 o'clock last night at Miami Baptist hospital. For the past two years he had lived at 326 C street southwest, following a residence of 15 years in Wyandotte.

For eight years he had worked for the State Highway department.

Ellington is said to have strained himself a week ago and the resulting injury is believed responsible for his death.

Surviving are his wife, Helen; two daughters, Virginia Lee and Mary; five brothers, Robert of Katy, Tex.; M. P. of Bolsom, Wis.; Eli of Oklahoma City; Edgar of Quapaw and John, of Minneapolis.

ELLINGTON RITES

Members of the State Highway department will act as pallbearers Friday at the funeral of George Ellington, a former department member who died Tuesday night at Miami Baptist hospital following an injury. Services will be at 2:30 o'clock at the Methodist church with Rev. Earl Prater of Wyandotte and Rev. Ben Sturdivant of the local church officiating. Burial will be in G. A. R. cemetery. Lane Funeral home is in charge.
