Hearts were saddened and a place made vacant when the Death Angel took little Walter Christopher Richter, Jr. to his heavenly home. Death came Sunday, April 11, 1943, at 4:15 p.m. at the Rosenberg Hospital. Walter had been ill for some time and everything possible was done to aid him in recovering.
Funeral services were held at the Foerster Funeral Home in Rosenberg at 3 o'clock, and at the Friedens Evangelical Church at Beasley, his home, at 3:30. Interment was in the church cemetery at Beasley. Rev. Martin Ernest of Somerville, Texas conducted the services.
Walter leaves to mourn his death his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Richter; three sisters, Joyce, Jeanette, and Waldine; and his grandparents, Mrs. Louise Richter and Mrs. and Mrs. Henry Dabelgott of Beasley.
Friends extend sympathy, deep and sincere, to the loved ones in the loss of this precious child.
