Age 75. Morris St., Elwood, IL. Passed away suddenly March 31, 1978 at St. Joseph Hospital. He was retired from the Army Corp Engineers and a town councilman of Elwood for the past ten years, and he was a resident of Elwood for the past 26 years. He was a member of the Elwood Masonic Lodge 919, Elwood Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star 761, Bloomington Consistory A.A.S.R.,past member of Peoria Shrine A.A.O.N.M.S., active member of Chicago Shrine Madina A.A.O.N.M.S., past member of the Bloomington Elks, and a past member of the Airplane Pilots Association of America. Preceded in death by his wife, L. Carolyn Goliday; his parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles Goliday; a brother, Franklin Russell and a sister, Irene Travers. Survived by one daughter, Alice Virginia Guinnee; one brother, Charles Wayne Goliday of Normal, IL; three granddaughters and two great-grandsons; numerous nieces and nephews. funeral services will be April 3 at 10:30 a.m. at the Des Rochers Funeral Home, Wilmington with the Rev. James Offrink officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lexington, IL. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Masonic Services at 8 p.m. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Masonic Lodge 919, Elwood, IL., building fund
