Florence was the daughter of Oscar and Katherine Krier Lafferty. She married Roy C. Greenfield 29 Dec 1920, Kimball, Nebraska.

"RITES HELD FOR FLORENCE GREENFIELD
Services for Florence Greenfield, 87, were held Aug 15 at the Stuart Communtiy Church with the Rev Robert Neill officiating. She died Aug 13 at Parkside Manor where she resided the past nine months.
Music was by Dick Shearer, who sang, “The Old Rugged Cross”, and “How Great Thou Art”, accompanied by Margie Stracke, organist. Burial was in the Stuart Community Cem. Pallbearers were Mel Stracke, Del Stracke, Dan Greenfield, Vernon Heyne, Bob Greenfield, and Bob Eastman.
Mrs. Greenfield was born Jan 3,1900 at Schuyler, Daughter of Oscar and Katherine Krier Lafferty. She taught rural school two years before her marriage to Roy C Greenfield on Dec 29,1920 in Kimball, Nebr. They lived on a farm near Kimball until 1936 when they moved to Idaho. Their farm was near Sandpoint, Idaho, where Farragut Naval Training Base was built during WWII.
She and her husband moved back to Stuart in 1970, the year of their Golden Wedding Anniversary. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, VFW Auxiliary and Parkside Manor Auxiliary.
Survivors are nieces, Mrs Irvin Wheeler of Potter, Nebr; and Judy Audet of Calver City, Cal; nephews, Kenneth Lafferty of Torrance, Cal; Donald and Darryl Lafferty of Thousand Oaks, Cal; and John Lafferty of Va. Her husband, parents, three sisters, and two brothers preceded her in death."
