Clara Louise Worley, daughter of John & Henrietta (Herbst) Wills, was born December 19, 1919 in Butler, PA. She grew up and attended school in Chicago, IL. Clara, a long-time resident of Sauk Village, IL, was a physical education teacher in the elementary school system, a homemaker and an assistant in the cafeteria at St. Marks Lutheran Church where she was a long-standing member.
Clara Worley passed away at age 83, on April 5, 2003 at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights, IL. She is laid to rest at Homewood Memorial Gardens in Homewood, IL. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph.
Survivors include her son Leonard [Sharon] Bane of CA; daughters Carol [Edward] Burkhardt of MO, Shirley [late Louis] Cabot of Sauk Village, Bonnie [Ray] Petrocelli of FL, Jackie [Gary] Cyrus of ND, and Kelly [Marty] Heniff of Park Forest; sister Ann [late Louis] Stone of FL; brother Clarence [Helen] Wills of Chicago; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
