Gene grew up in Geary,Ok,after high school he served in the US Army.He was a longtime employee of Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent,he retired in 1999 with 30 yrs.of served.He was a member of Mustang First Baptist Church,Toastmasters International (Conoma Club)and a clown at the Luncent`s Clown Club.He is survived by his wife Mary of 41yrs. they had 4 children ,2 sons Ronald Jr.,Michael,2 daughters Cathy Cooley,Rhonda Weibrod,6 grandchildren.Gene was a very dear friend of mine,he took me under his wing and taught me everything that he knew about Toastmasters,he was my mentor.
