She was joined in the holy bonds of wedlock to Edward Boylen, June 16, 1913.
Mr. and Mrs. Boylen moved on a farm in Plum Creek, near Eastman from Arena, WI., 28 years ago, where they resided until 4 years ago when she moved to Prairie du Chien.
She was laid to rest in the Sacred Heart Cemetery at Wauzeka, March 24, next to her husband. A funeral Mass was held at St. Gabriel's, Prairie du Chien, by Rev. Fr. Smith and the remains were taken to Wauzeka where Rev. Fr. Brickl officiated at another Mass.
She was carried to her last resting place by six grandsons: John and Marvin Meyer, Michael and Edward Elliott, Charles Steiner and Allen Boylen.
Pvt. Joseph Elliott, a grandson, who is stationed at Kessler Field, Miss. and her brother Edward of Ajo, Arizona were unable to attend. Her oldest son served in the World War in France.
