Born June 27, 1916, in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Richard and Idella (Meadows) Ratliff.
She had worked as a cashier at Bloomington Hospital and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Pointer; one son, Edward Otto Cox; five brothers and four sisters.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Gilead Cemetery with Roy Martin officiating.
Deremiah-Frye Mortuary, Greene & Harrell Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
