William F. "Bill" Ackerman, 55, of Keansburg, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011, in Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was born Dec. 17, 1955 in Red Bank and a son of William H. Ackerman and the late Mary Lou Vernaglia Ackerman. Bill worked at the Keansburg Post Office for 35 years, retireing this past March.Surviving are his wife, Barbara Ackerman of Keansburg; daughter, Katie Ackerman of Keansburg; father, William H. Ackerman of Keansburg; sister, Laurie Jarema and her husband Ihor of Reston, Va.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Tony and Arlene Frazee of Keansburg; sister-in-law, Sharon Frazee of Keansburg; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tony and Joanne Frazee of Middletown, Stephen and Barbara Frazee of GA, and Arlene and Dave Manges of Keansburg; his nieces and nephews, Alex Jarema, Dana, Casey and Michelle Wheeler, Emily and Jenna Frazee, David, Tyler and Ryan Manges, and Jake and Matthew Frazee.Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 15 at the Laurel Funeral Home, 201 Laurel Ave., West Keansburg. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16 at the funeral home, and 12 noon at St. Ann's Church, Keansburg. Interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.
