William Justus Earle 85, passed away July 5, 2010 at home.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Doris. He is also survived by his sister, Lois Pfeiffer; daughter, Cindy (Ed) Konrath; grandchildern, Kristina (David) Swallow, Cassie (Darin Crites) Konrath, Treye (Lucia) Konrath; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Mason and Olive Crites and Cort Konrath.

Bill enlisted into the US Navy at 17 and served during WWII on destroyer escort USS Raby in the South Pacific. At the end of WWII he came home and married his high school sweetheart. Bill and Doris owned a ten foot wide store front A&W Restaurant in Naples, FL.

They moved to Tucson in 1960. During their 50 year stay in AZ Bill had a Service Master franchise in Tucson and an Art Gallery and frame shop in Prescott. Bill was a volunteer for Search and Rescue, the Playbox Theater, Smoki and the Pima Air Museum. His humor, warmth, insight and quiet support will be greatly missed by many.

Celebration of Life will be at Pantano Christian Church, 10355 E. 29th Street on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice or to Honor Flights for our WWII vets.
