Henry Clay Taylor, 88, of 217 S Garfield, former Galt district ranches, died early yesterday in his home following an extended illness.
Taylor lived in Lodi for 10 years following his retirement from farming activities in the Clay region north of Galt.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lena Taylor of Lodi; a son, G. Earl Taylor of Galt; five other sons and a daughter in the state; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm tomorrow in Lodi Funeral Home under the direction of the Rev. Benjamin Smith. Interment will be in Galt Odd Fellows Cemetery.
