Funeral services were held Friday, July 15, 2011 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Beth Buckley, age 46, of Vicksburg, MS who passed away July 12, 2011. Interment followed at Oak Grove Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements.
Rev. Tim Fortner officiated. Pall bearers were Jonathan Guy, Brian Jordan, Jonathan Jordan, Michael Johnson, James Aultman and Ryan Buckley. Honorary pall bearers were Tristan Magee and David Griffith.
Mrs. Mary Beth Magee Buckley was born in Prentiss, MS on February 18, 1965. She was the daughter of Neal and Betty Fortenberry Magee. Mrs. Beth Buckley was raised in Prentiss, MS and attended Prentiss Christian School. She was a homemaker and a member of Lawndale Presbyterian Church in Tupelo, MS.
Mrs. Buckley is survived by her husband, Paul Buckley of Vicksburg, MS; three sons, Jeremy Buckley of Fort Knox, KY, Joseph Buckley of Prentiss, MS and Josh Buckley of Vicksburg, MS; two grandchildren; her father, Neal Magee of Prentiss, MS; a sister, Melinda Spiers of Mendenhall, MS; two brothers, Gary Magee of Malvern, AR and Oscar Magee of Prentiss, MS; and her maternal grandmother, Mary Fortenberry of Prentiss, MS.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Magee.
