Mary Ellen Weston was born 10 July 1855 in Venango County, Pennsylvania. She was the ninth child born to George Franklin and Anna (Hall) Weston. She married John Huffman Adams abt 1878 and they were the parents of five children.

Mary appears on the 1860 and 1870 Federal census for Irwin Twp., Venango County,Pa.living with her parents, George and Anna Weston. They are living next to William and Mary Adams in 1860 and in 1870 her older brother David and his family are living by them. Her older sister,Salena(Weston) Sopher is living nearby and it most assured that she spent time helping her out with her family, as living next to the Sopher's is the family of her childhood sweetheart, John H Adams. Two of her other sisters ,Isobella ( married Richard S Adams) and Nancy Adeline(married Walter Lowery Adams),as well as Mary married the "boys next door". Mary Weston and John were married in abt 1878. John and Mary Adams lived in Irwin Township for most of their lives.
Mary Weston Adams Died 20 Feb 1945.
She is buried in Mount Irwin Cemetery (Formerly Amity).
