THE LAMPASAS LEADER
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27, 1905

Rev. James I. Haden, aged 62, died at the home of his son at the Central hotel, Friday afternoon. Mr. Haden was born in Madison county, Alabama in 1843. He has been in Texas a number of years living at Cameron and Lott, coming here on July 1st of this year. Mr. Haden has been in delicate health for some time.
Deceased was a member of the Christian church and for fifteen years a minister of that denomination. He leaves two sons one of whom resides here and the other in Houston. The funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon by Rev. W. A. Boggess. The Leader extends sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
