Catherine is the daughter of Lambert and Elida Farley Pittner.. notice that one of the 'ts' were dropped from her surname. Lambert was a Captain in the Pennsylvania State Militia during the Revolutionary war and her descendants are registered members of the 'Sons of the American Revolution'

She was the first wife of Clotworthy Stephenson Fisher and they were married on 20 Jan 1822 and after having five children died in childbirth from the 6th pregnancy. She died in Mayberry or Sharpe Ridge Township, Montour Co, Pa. Both her and the infant were buried at the Old Presbyterian burial ground, which I'm told, no longr exists.
