"Belle" was the daughter of Marshall Abram CROLEY (1831-1910) & Sarah Ann Elizabeth BONE CROLEY (1830-1912). She was the first wife of Thomas Burel "Tommy" RUCKS (1866-1959). Belle died at 34 years old and is buried to the right of Tommy. Tommy's second wife Dora Ellen HAYES RUCKS is buried to his left. Dora raised the four children of Tommy & Belle as her own as well as the dozen more she had with Tommy. Children of Tommy & Belle were James Crofford RUCKS (1888-1970), Otis Marshall "O.M." RUCKS, Sr. (1891-1964), Effie Elizabeth RUCKS FARMER (1895-1981), and William Girvus "W.G." RUCKS (1899-1958). Daughter Effie is also buried in this cemetery. Belle & Tommy were married 24 November 1887 at her parent's home in Dekalb County, Alabama. Stone reads:"HAVING FINISHED LIFE'S DUTY, SHE NOW SWEETLY RESTS".
