Heather M. Sanders, 17 of Girard, died Wednesday, April 2, 2003. Survived by her parents, Lyle H. and Sandra L. Vogt Sanders; two sisters: Jennifer L. Laskos and her husband Jeremy and Julie L. Sanders; a niece; Madisen L. Laskos, maternal grandmother: Irene Vogt; paternal grandmother: Norma Scalise, all of Girard. Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East in Girard on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 where a prayer service will be held Monday at 10 am followed by a mass at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Girard at 11 am. Burial in Girard Cemetery. Memorial contributions on her behalf may be made to the Heather & Stacey Sanders Memorial Fund, c/o Girard High School, 1100 Rice Avenue, Girard, PA 16417.
