Albert Emil Bachle was born in Logan County, Illinois in 1874; the son of Jacob and Kathryn Bachle. As a small boy, he moved with his parents to Beatrice, Nebraska where he attended school and grew to manhood. On March 2, 1902, he was united in marriage with Miss Carolyn Hoyer at Ellis, Nebraska. They operated a farm in that community for a number of years and Mr. Bachle served several terms on the school board. He later was a traveling salesman for the Acme and Dempster Mill companies.

In 1914, the Bachles moved to Douglas, first operating a ranch and later founding the Douglas Hide, Fur and Wool Co. which he operated until his death. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary March 2, 1952.

Mr. Bachle was a member of the Congregational Church, Douglas Lions club and the Odd Fellows Lodge at Beatrice, Nebraska.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Alfred H. of Miami, Fla.; and three brothers, Dr. E. P. Bachle of Liberty, Neb.; Charles of Beatrice, Neb.; and Fred of Tecumseh, Neb.
