Born October 26, 1946 in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Luther, Sr. and Ruth Elizabeth Kerns Linton.
She was a member of the Hancock Assembly of God. Pat attended public schools in Frederick, MD and worked from 1977-1993 at Vanguard Products in Berkeley Springs, WV. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Webster B. Harrison American Legion Post #26 in Hancock and the Women’s Missionary Group of Hancock Assembly of God. She enjoyed bowling, housecleaning, quilting and spending time with her family. She had been a homemaker in recent years.
Surviving are her children, Teresa Ann Divel and her fiancé Chip Colliflower of Berkeley Springs and Michael Anthony Divel and his companion Renee Melton of Hancock, MD, seven grandchildren, Amanda Jo Divel, Cameron Ray King, Bradi Renee Colliflower, Kyra Lynn Colliflower and Lakyn Danielle Colliflower, all of Berkeley Springs, Keana Morgan Smith and Tricia Courtney Pryor, both of Hancock and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Wayne Shifflett on August 5, 2002, one granddaughter, Randi Nicole Michael and one brother, Franklin Luther Linton, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the Hancock Assembly of God, 431 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, Hancock, MD with Pastor Donald Preston officiating. Interment will be in Spohrs Crossroads Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Hancock Assembly of God and also one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Pastor Donald Preston will officiate. Interment will be in Spohrs Crossroads Cemetery.
