Alfred Oliver was a Wagon Master, leading settlers from the East to California, he died somewhere between California and the eastern United States, possibly in the Rocky Mountains.
His year of death is estimated. He was enumerated on the 1850 US Census in Missouri. His brother, Harrison Oliver filed a probate action in November 1850 in Sacramento County, California. Assume he died in California.
He married Eugenia Barling about 1830, in Missouri. They had eight children; William, Eugenia, Lafayette, Thomas, Flora, Josephine, Sarah and Alfred.
