Katie, age 91, entered into eternal life on March 21. She was born in Bienville Parish, Louisiana, September 27, 1921 to W.W. and Grace Raines. She grew up in Arkansas, moving to Manitou Springs in 1959. She was a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. Katie was an active member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Katie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and her husband of 50 years, Donald. She is survived by her daughter, 2 grandsons and a great-grandson.
A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 5-7 P.M. at Blunt Mortuary, 2229 W. Colorado Ave. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 2:00 P.M at Blunt Mortuary. Interment will be at Crystal Valley Cemetery, Manitou Springs.
