Vivian P. Coltharp Schipper, 90, Springfield, died at 6:50 a.m. Aug. 30; 1992, in Mount Vernon Park Care Center. On Nov. 14, 1901, in Perry County, Kan., she was born to George and Electa Ruse Esson. She was a homemaker and a member of Broadway Bible Church and former member of the Christian Church. On July 22, 1922, she was united in mars riage to John E. Coltharp, a Christian Church minister. He preceded her in death in 1964 after 42 years of marriage. On June 11, 1972, she was united in marriage to Herman Schipper, who preceded her in death In 1982. She was also preceded in death by a son Teddie John Coltharp In 1951. Survivors include two sons, Duane L. Coltharp, Florissant and the Rev. Paul E. Coltharp, Springfield; a daughter; Prudence Perkins, Hazelwood; ten grandchiledren; 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 P.m. Wednesday In Greenlawn Funeral Home North with the Rev. Paul Coltharp officiating. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m Thursday in Sunnyside Cemetery, Caney, Kan. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday In the funeral home.
