She was born Oct. 16, 1920. at Herculaneum. daughter of William and Lydia Jackson Neal.
She married Waldo Ford April 9, 1938, at Essex. He preceded her in death. She and her husband had owned and operated the Ford Coal & Limestone Company in Morehouse for many years.
A resident of Dexter for the past 30 years, she had previously resided at Morehouse and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Morehouse.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Lee Ford of Dexter and Ronald Dee Ford of Huntsville, Ala.: two brothers, Milton Neal of Dexter and Lester Neal Merrill of Centralia, Ill.; two sisters, Justine Hunt of Maplewood and Pauline Ferrell of Pacific; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Nunlee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Kenneth Biggs officiating.
Burial will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
