Walter A. Perry, 61, of 21 Winter St.,died Sunday at his home after a brief illness. He was born in Manchester,son of George H. & Alexina (Boucher) Perry.He was a resident of Laconia for 21 years,formerly living in Manchester. He was a graduate of Central High School,class of 1952.He was a Marine Corps & Naval Reserves Vet. He retired after many years as a cook. He is survived by a son Wayne Perry of Manchester,3 daughters, Joanne Perry of Penacook, Cheryl Frodge of Chesapeake,Va., & Suzanne Saunders of Londonderry;3 grandchildren;4 sisters Gladys Fisher of Lewiston,Me.,Nancy Payment,of Dover, & Louise Boucher & Shirley Marston of Manchester; 3 brothers John Perry of San Deigo, Cal., Raymond Perry of Texas, & Steven Perry of Manchester,several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by 2 sisters & 5 brothers. Funeral services will be held privately with cremation following. Calling hours will be today from 7 to 9 pm at the Peabody Funeral Home,15 Birch St. Derry. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester at the family's convenience. The family requests that donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army,121 Cedar St.,Man.
