28 March 1977: Cyril G. Snyder, 62, 211 E. Maple St., died Saturday in the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, where he was an elder, had served as a trustee and was Sunday school superintendent and institutional representative for the Boy Scout troop. He was also a life member and past president of the Lebanon Optimist Club and was a member of a local organ club. He was a son of the late George and Alice Kercher Snyder. A veteran of World War II, he was an office employee of Bethlehem Steel Corp. Survivors include his wife, Julia E. Demler Snyder; two sisters, Beatrice Murrell, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Elsie, wife of John H. Demler, Inverness, Fla.; a brother, Charles W. Snyder, Lebanon, and a number of nieces and nephews. [Lebanon Daily News]
