Leah Mae Ericson Cevering passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at Ogden Regional Medical Center.

She was born January 12, 1931 in Plain City to Louis Marshall and Adeline Ruth Hodson Ericson. She graduated from Weber High School.

She met her sweetheart, Earl Cornelius Cevering at the Berthana and on October 26, 1951, Leah and Earl were married in Plain City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Leah was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served in many callings including six years at the Ogden LDS Temple as a Temple Officiator.

She was very dedicated to her family and she was the fabric that held the family together. Her children and grandchildren were her life. She loved to read, especially the scriptures.

Leah is survived by her husband, Earl; two sons, Rodney (Cathy) Cevering, Logan; Robert Cevering, West Haven; two daughters, Linda (Blake) Conger, Clearfield; LeAnn (Steve) Conger, Syracuse; 21 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Louis Marshall Ericson, Alpine.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, Melissa Conger, three sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 25th at 11 a.m. at the Roy 3rd Ward Chapel, 5930 South 2200 West.

Friends and family may call Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., at the church.

Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
