Dixie Carol Pannell Terry Clark, 77, of Marion died Aug. 15, 2010 at UVA Health Center in Charlottesville. She was born Feb. 23, 1933 to Ernest Roy Pannell and Beulah Davis Pannell in Coeburn.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Arthur Terry, the father of her daughters, brothers, Herschel Pannell and Leon Pannell, and sisters, Brenda Pannell and Dorothy Pannell Bise.
Her greatest joys in life were her family, friends, cooking, and homemaking. The family received friends Tuesday, Aug. 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bradley's Funeral Home in Marion. Burial will be in the Clark Family Cemetery in Barren Springs. Pallbearers will be Brian, Logan and George Hunnicutt, Chris Pannell, Sean McMenamin, and Cory Myers. In lieu of flowers, contributions honoring her memory can be made to God's Word Won't Fail Ministry, 12200 Carolina Road, Coeburn, VA Bradley's Funeral Home of Marion is in charge of arrangements.
