Emily N. Roberts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Roberts was born June 20, 1915 in Iowa and died September 5, 2004 in Adams County, Iowa
Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Emily Roberts of Gravity and John Agnew of Villisca which took place April 14 at the Methodist Church parsonage in Sidney, Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Firkins, the latter a sister of the groom were the only attendantents. Mrs. Agnew is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Roberts of Gravity and Agnew is the son of Mr.and Mrs. R. D. Agnew of Villisca. Both were former Nodaway young people, John having graduated with the class of 1932 and Emily having attended high school until her senior year when she moved to Gravity and graduated with the class of 1933.
The couple motored to Omaha and Nebraska City for a short wedding trip. Mr. and Mrs. Agnew will be at home to their many friends in Villisca. People in this community wish these young people much success.
