Eva J. Zieroff, 73, of Gladwin, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999 at MidMichigan Medical Center-Gladwin. Born Dec. 7, 1925 in Thetford Township, she was the daughter of Earl and Nina Stover Miller. Eva married Joseph Zieroff, July 10, 1943 in Saginaw. He preceded her in death March 7, 1989. They moved to Beaverton in 1966 and to Gladwin in 1984.
Surviving are 10 sons, Delbert, Kenneth, Jeffery, and Richard, all of Gladwin, Edward and wife Dorothy, Albert and wife Shirley, Robert and wife Danette, and Joseph and wife Mary Ann, all of Coleman; James and wife Debra of Beaverton, and Gary and wife Ellen of Saginaw; one daughter, Sandy and husband Donald Newvine of Saginaw; four brothers, Robert and wife Lois Miller of Saginaw, Howard and wife Rita Miller of Rose City, Lawrence and wife Helen Miller of LaPort, and John Miller of Mancelona; two sisters, Ruth Powell of Clare, and Mary Jane Johnson of North Carolina; 22 grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Miller; and one sister, Marvel Byrd.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Sisson Funeral Home in Gladwin with Rev. Timothy Verity officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 11-17/1999 Column – 5 Page – 2.
