Mrs. Hicks Succumbs At Garrett Residence
Funeral of Mrs. Eliza Jane Hicks, 69 years old, widow of Hence Hicks, who died last Thursday at her home near Garrett, were conducted Friday from the residence, E. H. Howard, M. M. Chaffin, and Alex Coburn officiating. Burial was made in the Chaffin Family Cemetery on Rock Fork Creek. Mrs. Hicks was a daughter of John and Mary Chaffin of Rock Fork. Surviving her are four sons, Frank, Richard, Ellis, and Robert Hicks, four brothers and two sisters, Robert, Elliott, Galloway, and Ellis Chaffin, Mrs. Clabe Conley, and Mrs. Alex Hicks.
